Due to popular demand we are going back to Dorchester! Many of our stallholders have such fond memories of this magnificent building and had such good sales that we have listened to public opinion and have managed to book one date in 2018.
Dorchester Corn Exhange is a very attractive hall, situated right at the top of the High Street, very visible to the hundreds of people visiting the pretty town of Dorchester each Saturday. Dorchester is a historic market town just off the A35 and close to Weymouth. It boasts a large range of fantastic shops, several museums and a wealth of history, being linked strongly with Thomas Hardy. During holiday season, the town is very popular with tourists, visiting both by car and the local bus services.
During 2014 and 2015 the craft markets at Dorchester Corn Exchange regularly attracted footfalls of 600+ at each event. This location demands a lot of 'active marketing' on the day, of the sort that Mynt Image provide, with the location being made prominent to all who pass by. We hope by going back to this location we will receive the support from the local craft community and manage to attract a good number of stallholders as we did previously. Tables are always supplied at this venue (total of 27.)
