Milford-on-Sea Community Centre

Craft markets have been running within Milford Community Centre for many years under Milford Artisan Markets and proved to be very successful. With the organiser of the events deciding to no longer run these in 2022, we have agreed to continue working with Milford Community Centre to provide Craft and Gift markets at this location. 

Milford Community Centre is adjacent to the large car park in Milford On Sea which provides the parking for this coastal village. The village centre is just a short walk away with its range of specialist shops and café’s which serve both the thriving local community as well as the many tourists who visit the village.  The large village  relies upon tourism, with hotels, restaurants, cafés, tea rooms, small shops, pubs and holiday camping, lodge and caravan parks. Most shops are close to its small high street, which fronts a picturesque village green.

The coast and beaches are within a few minutes walk away, making this an extremely popular tourist destination. The population of Milford on Sea have greatly supported the market’s previously and this is something we will continue to encourage by working with the community Centre in promoting these events. We will also use our active marketing methods to draw in the tourists and visitors to this picturesque village.

We will be using 3 of the ground floor halls in 2022, each room with its own style and character. By making use of our cardboard figures, we believe that customers will continue to be drawn into all areas of the building, just like they have done previously. Unloading will be in the car park adjacent to the Community Centre where there are both short term and long term parking areas. Being on level access, this venue will be very good for those with any mobility issues.
