Henley-on-Thames Town Hall

Henley on Thames Town Hall has been effectively used by Mynt Image now for 9 years, being one of the first halls we used. This is a wonderful attractive hall, right at the top of Henley High street, next to several of the main Henley car parks, pubs and restaurants. Our banners and flags can be spotted from further down the High Street and many shoppers make a bee line for this market each time it is held. With our active marketing techniques we are able to attract good numbers of customers into this market, especially when there is a street market outside  at various times during the year including Christmas. Footfalls have ranged from 350 – 2400+ depending on a variety of different circumstances.

This is a 2nd floor hall, though this has never caused a problem with getting customers into the market. There is a lift to the 2nd floor and this is used mostly by stall holders to help get their products into the hall. We have many regular stall holders who book this market well in advance, as it can be a very successful and profitable market. Henley is of course a very wealthy area and customers can be very discerning when spending their money, looking for quality products for themselves or gifts for others. Tourists also visit Henley throughout the summer months attending the regatta or simply sitting out in the sun at one of the many quality restaurants lining the High street below the Town Hall. Unloading is right outside the hall before moving cars to one of the local car parks for the day.


Customers are looking for quality products at affordable prices. A variety of stalls have sold very well here in the past with ladies bags and jewellery often selling very well. Household wares have also sold well here as have art and candles. Customers are often looking for those products which are a little different, but which demonstrate quality. Mynt Image are pleased to continue using this hall and to work with the other groups who utilise rooms within the Town Hall.      


Some excellent footfalls were achieved in 2022, though wet weather did adversely affect one event. If the weather is fine then there are plenty of customers using the cafes in the High Street. With our active marketing team in the Hiugh street we encourage very good numbers of tourists and visitors into the event. At most events here, there are several stallholders achieving sales of £500+ with between £150 and £300 being regular for most experienced sellers.
